At Cetil, we continue to take firm steps towards a more responsible energy model, one that is prepared for the challenges of the future. With this vision in mind, we have implemented two new initiatives at our facilities: the installation of solar panels on the roof of our plant and the addition of electric vehicle charging points. Both actions reinforce our commitment to reducing the environmental impact of our operations.
Clean energy for a more responsible future
The incorporation of solar panels enables us to generate part of our own energy, reduce conventional electricity consumption, and move towards a more sustainable self-consumption model. This step not only lowers our carbon footprint but also helps us build a more efficient and environmentally conscious working environment.
Driving a realistic and balanced energy mix
Although Cetil does not manufacture electric chargers, we firmly believe in the coexistence of different energy solutions. This is why we have installed charging points for electric vehicles at our facilities, as we understand that the mobility of the future must be built on coexistence and complementarity rather than on the imposition of specific options.

For us, the energy mix is key. Electrification must coexist with other alternatives we promote at Cetil, such as hydrogen, bio-CNG/LNG, and next-generation liquid fuels, to build a future in which different solutions progress in parallel, complement one another, and offer responses tailored to each need.
Our commitment: advancing towards a realistic and diverse energy transition
Europe’s industrial, logistics and social landscape demands flexibility. This is precisely the path we follow at Cetil: developing solutions capable of operating across different energy scenarios. To achieve this, we will continue to support our clients with responsibility, innovation and a long-term vision, contributing to an effective, realistic, and sustainable energy transition.
