EAS2

The EAS2 is an electronic calculator designed for the control of traditional fuel (gasoline and diesel) dispensers and alternative ones (LPG, CNG and LNG), as well as any other product that needs to be measured associated with the supply to vehicles, for example, additives such as AdBlue. The backbone of the EAS2 is constituted by two buses, power and CAN communication, from which the different modules hang and carry out a distributed control of the system. Its design includes:

  • Modularity: the cost of the system can be perfectly adjusted to the functionality required in the dispenser.
  • Scalable and flexible: new modules can be designed and integrated into the EAS2 to perform new functions.
  • Ease of maintenance, reducing the time of unavailability to the minimum. In case of failure, it is not necessary to disconnect any peripheral, but replace the damaged electronic board, so it avoids possible errors of connection of them and minimizes the time spent in the repair.
  • Easy identification of the modules, since they are manufactured using different colors.

General characteristics

  • Controls 2 fuelling point (Fp1 and FP2) allowing two simultaneous deliveries (one per fueling point).
  • Handles 5 hoses per fuelling point (10 available meters).
  • May handle one product input or pump per hose (10 in total).
  • Control of volumetric and mass meters.
  • Handles up to 4 customer displays, 2 per fuelling point.
  • 5 different products allowable.
  • Any combination of product is allowed (gasoline, diesel, LPG, CNG, LNG, additives such as AdBlue…).
  • Indication of the quantity in volume or mass depending on the selected product.
  • Controls high flow selection push-button per hose, for example per trucks refuelling.
  • Controls simultaneously two meters associated to the same hose to increase the flow in certain applications.
  • Controls two solenoid valves per hose, either two stage valves or proportional ones.
  • Preset of amount or quantity.
  • Controls one satellite hose (associated to a primary hose) per fuelling point (for trucks with 2 fuel tanks).
  • High contrast white on black LCD display with:
    • 8 digits of 32mm in height for delivered amount.
    • 8 digits of 32mm height for delivered quantity (volume or mass).
    • Alphanumeric field of 15mm height for unit price and text message system, operating instructions, ambient temperature, process variables...
  • The comma position in each field is completely configurable.
  • Acoustic module to identify the product in service.
  • Records for maintenance and diagnostic operations.
  • Three levels of access codes to guarantee the integrity of the system.
  • Shortcuts to facilitate standalone daily tasks: reading totalizers or changing prices.
  • SD card for installation and maintenance operations, configuration or totalizers backup/restore and firmware update.
  • Pulse output for vapour recovey system or card readers.
  • Electronic calibration available per meter.
  • Ambient temperature sensor.
  • Temperature range ambient: -40°C ÷ 55°C.
  • Power supply: 230 VAC.

Communication protocols

  • IFSF-LON (FTT-10).
  • Legacy EAS1 protocol for installations where CETIL E20 dispensers are present.
  • Modbus map, through a RS485 port, where all the process variables are available, especially useful for supervision of CNG and LNG applications.
  • Additional RS485 port for diagnostic purposes, designed to extract all the records from the system in real time: errors, supplies, process variables…
