Filters

Providing a quality fuel is easier if you have the right means. We facilitate this goal with our wide range of filters that allow the extraction of any impurity present in the fuel. Tell us what you want to eliminate and we will find the filter that best suits your needs, advising you on the location of the filter so that the performance of your installation is not compromised.

Diesel filtration

Although diesel and biodiesel leave the refineries without impurities, their quality may vary at the time it is dispensed due to the accumulated contamination during transport and storage. It is known that most of the problems related to engines are due to the presence of dirt and/or water in the fuel, even more with the new systems of injection at high pressure that require the elimination of abrasive particles more and more smaller.

General characteristics

From a general point of view, there are three types of filtering:
  • Filtering of particles.

The elimination of fine and abrasive particles of silica, as well as particles coming from the interior of the transport pipes reduces the wear of the motors, increases their useful life and allows compliance with the equipment warranty specifications. In short, it allows a reduction in the operating costs of the engines, due to a lower number of repairs, an increase in useful life, a more efficient fuel consumption and a longer interval between maintenance. There are particle filters for multiple flow rates.

  • Filtering of particles and water (by absorption).

In addition to filtering particles, these filters ensure the elimination of free water present in the fuel. Water filtering occurs by chemical absorption. This type of filtering prevents damage to the injectors. In this type of filters the flow is compromised when the cartridge reaches its capacity. As in the previous case, there are a great variety of filters depending on the flow of the installation.

  • Filtering of particles and separation of water (by coalescence).

In addition to filtering particles, this type of filter separates the water that may appear in the fuel. Water is the main enemy of the injectors and the pump of the diesel engines since it can displace the lubricating coating of the fuel. These types of filters are also available in a wide range of flow rates.

In addition to the preventive filtering elements discussed above, we also have diagnostic and monitoring elements to verify the quality of the fuel throughout the entire distribution process.
