Cetil visited Hydrogen Technology Expo Europe, the world's largest trade fair dedicated to the hydrogen industry, which took place recently in Hamburg. This event has become an essential hub for exploring the latest innovations and sustainable energy solutions relating to hydrogen, an alternative that is key in reducing emissions and combating climate change.
Paco Cabrera (New Energies Manager), Carlos Pastor (New Energies Sales Technician), Miguel Martín (R&D Engineer) and Santiago Llorente (Purchase Manager) travelled to Germany to learn first-hand about trends in the hydrogen market. This visit has allowed Cetil to strengthen and expand its network of potential suppliers in the strategic renewable energy sector.
Among other meetings, the Cetil representatives had the opportunity to meet and share impressions with Brais Armiño, an influential Spanish opinion leader, specialist in renewable hydrogen and synthetic fuels, co-founder of AtlantHy, and co-presenter, with Javier Pollos, of the informative “El Podcast del Hidrógeno”.
Hydrogen Technology Expo Europe was attended by 550 exhibiting companies and more than 300 international speakers, as well as bringing together 15,000 visitors from sectors such as technology, research and public policy. The event was aimed at boosting the development of solutions and innovations for the production of hydrogen with low carbon emissions, efficient storage and distribution, as well as applications in a wide variety of fixed and mobile uses.
In addition to the exhibitions, the Cetil delegation attended conferences on the latest advances in hydrogen technologies, fuel cells and carbon capture, taking advantage of the international trade fair as a key space for networking.
