According to the recent report issued by NGVA Europe, today, over 1.4 million natural gas vehicles are driving on European roads.
In Spain, the fleet of natural gas vehicles already amounts to more than 18,000 vehicles, their number having doubled in the last year and a half, according to the Iberian association gasnam. This increase in the number of vehicles is clearly enhanced by the growing offer of these types of vehicles by the main manufacturers. As example, here it is the latest version of the catalog of liquefied and compressed natural gas (LNG and CNG) vehicles edited by NGVA Europe: NGVA-Europe_VehicleCatalogue_2019.
Likewise, the number of gas stations in Spain continues increasing. Currently, 70 CNG and 45 LNG gas stations are operating. Under construction, there are 39 additional of CNG and 28 more of LNG.
With these impressive numbers, natural gas becomes, more than ever, a real alternative for the consumer.
