EHEC 2026: EHEC 2026: Collaboration as the Driving Force of the Hydrogen Value Chain

During the three-day event, our colleagues Paco Cabrera, Mª José Enguix and Cristina Viñas worked alongside Manuel Jesús García, Pedro Espinar, Juanma Cañadas and the rest of the INTARCON team. Together, we reinforced a belief we hold strongly: the hydrogen value chain thrives when the relationships between its stakeholders are strengthened.

Every link plays a vital role in building a robust, efficient ecosystem that is ready to meet future challenges. At this event, we were able to see—and demonstrate—how solutions from different stakeholders coexist, complement one another, and deliver a real impact on the energy landscape. In particular, this was made possible through the synergies we have developed with INTARCON, as well as with other companies such as EVOS, INERCO, TOYOTA and HIPERBARIC.

Solutions Driven by Collaboration

Within this context, we presented our joint solution:

Plug&Play – CETIL & INTARCON Solution

Our Plug&Play solution integrates CETIL hydrogen dispensers with INTARCON refrigeration systems.

This collaboration is designed to optimise hydrogen refuelling and maximise energy efficiency, enabling:

  •       Maximum system reliability, with both solutions factory-tested
  •       Reduced civil engineering costs
  •       Shorter commissioning times and fewer on-site interventions
  •       Full compatibility between systems

EHEC also provided the perfect setting to witness this ever-evolving value chain in action, and to see how solutions such as Plug&Play integrate with a range of sustainable mobility applications, including:

o   Refuelling the new Toyota Mirai

The Toyota Mirai saloon, powered by hydrogen, generates electricity on board, emits only water, and contributes to improved air quality during operation. It was particularly exciting to see how Toyota Spain allowed us to demonstrate hydrogen refuelling using our H₂ equipment.

Solutions like this bring together multiple technologies and companies: from the vehicle itself, to refuelling via our hydrogen dispenser, INTARCON’s refrigeration system, and HIPERBARIC’s compressor. A clear example of how collaboration drives the entire ecosystem, ensuring maximum safety and energy efficiency.

o   Évolution Synergétique logistics solution

We also had the opportunity to take a closer look at the Évolution Synergétique tractor unit, a heavy-duty vehicle designed for industrial and port environments, where sustainable mobility is already a tangible reality. José Juan Mellado and Pablo del Castillo showcased the operation of their H2TRACTOR. Alongside Marianela Martín and Gabriela Reyes, representatives of another key company in the value chain, INERCO, we were able to explore this high-value, hydrogen-native design in detail.

Looking Ahead

We return from the European Hydrogen Energy Conference (EHEC) with our vision reaffirmed: we will continue to champion a collaborative approach, developing solutions that integrate into an increasingly broad, complex and opportunity-rich ecosystem.

Thank you to everyone who joined us over these past few days. Let’s keep moving forward—together!
